Aeration

Paul's Lawn Care offers two methods of aeration - traditional core aeration and liquid aeration. They can be used separately or in conjunction with each other.

Core (Traditional) Aeration

We use professional aerator machines to create small but deep holes in your lawn by removing small plugs or “cores” of soil and thatch from the lawn. This helps to reduce soil compaction, allowing better nutrient uptake, as well as improved water and air circulation.

It’s often a good idea to topdress the lawn with a composted soil amendment following this service. We also offer topdressing, so let us know if you’re interested in receiving a topdressing treatment following your core aeration!

Liquid Aeration

Liquid aeration can be used as an alternative or in conjunction with core aeration. Our liquid aeration treatments use a specially formulated liquid solution that is loaded with organic material and micronutrients to add vitality to your lawn. The solution helps to break up compacted soil and create larger pore spaces for water, air, and nutrients. It also helps to break down thatch, and promote strong roots. You can receive this treatment as a standalone treatment, or you can sign up for our liquid aeration program, which includes either 2 or 4 treatments spaced throughout the year.
